Prins of the Mountain

Okay, so this posting follows dangerously close to the "Mountain Idiots" posting, I know.

On our way up to the top of the mountain, we pulled over to take a picture of these people taking a picture of how high the snow drifts are . What you can't make out really well is the "grafitti" etched in the snow. If you click on the picture you can just make out some of the writings.

Yet another stop sign. I liked the red against the muted nature colors.

The view from the top, walking back from the lookout point where I was standing on the wall. It was a very brisk 42 degrees up there, not counting windchill. The drive up there was harrowing at moments - complete with riding a ridge where the ground dropped steeply away from both sides of the road. Michelle was kind enough to let me drive her car so that I could have some sort of sense of control :-) It very much reminded me of my time in New Zealand and driving around steep terrain with narrow roads. What a rush.
