Saw this while walking back to my car after spending a couple hours at a coffee shop, where as chance would have it, I was working on this blog :-) I've officially become one of "them" - those people who sit at coffee shops, hogging tables, with their laptops up looking all important; blogging about themselves because they're just that narcisistic to believe that other people in the world want to read all about their life ;-) The post is actually an old street sign. This particular neighborhood used to mark all the street corners this way. Some have fallen over, some are still around.
This is an artist's "calling card" for his studio space. I was checking out PhotoFest and saw this as I was pulling away from the studio. Tim said this particular artist uses hands for everything - chairs where the seat is a huge hand, armchairs where the your rest your hands on wooden hands, etc. This must be his spare parts. What you can't see is the wheels of the grocery cart are wooden feet.
