It was such a nice day today, and Michelle was pressuring me so strongly, that I decided to drive out to Terry Hershey Park on the west side of town and take what turned out to be a five mile walk.
Some wild grasses that were growing along side the trail which bordered the bayou.
And honeysuckle!! I haven't seen honeysuckle grow here in Houston. Everyone here has night-blooming-jasmine.
Just a nice footbridge over the bayou.
This shot is for Michelle. For almost the entire five miles we yacked on the phone as she reminisced about how much she missed this park. She said one of the main things she remembered was the spiderwebs on the footbridges.
LOOK! I found FALL! At least as much of it as Houston ever gets.
Didn't expect to see a rabbit along the trail...
Horton Hears A Who!
And for the parting shot, Ethan's gifts to my fridge. Scott was in town this weekend and crashed at my place. Later in the day he brought Ethan over to hangout and he colored these pictures for me and marched right over and put them up on the door.
