Yup. Got my own membership to Costco. Thank you sweet Jesus and sweet Kutners. I love Costco. I walk in there and my heart gets happy. Every year at Christmas when I go home to ABQ I make my parents take me there. It's never made sense for me to have my own membership; especially when it costs $70 per year. There's no way I could "save" that much on what I purchased when I live alone. When we go, there are times I don't even buy anything (however, I do often use my powers of persuasion to get my parents to buy things...pistachios, oriental snack mix, cookies, etc.). So when the Kutner's surprised me with an early Christmas present, I was thrilled. I went the next morning to activate and take my first lap around the new store on Richmond, and then was instructed to call the Kutner's and report how much I'd spent. When I told them I'd spent $28.44 they screamed and told me they wanted the membership back because I obviously didn't know how to use it.
This is a house in their neighborhood that is obviously already lit for the season. I just can't believe that over a week before Thanksgiving these people have already gone to this much trouble.
Here's me raiding the big jar of chocolate chips before dinner. As soon as I ate a handful, Marc broke out his homemade ceviche which was amazing. I made a meal of it and the pistachios (Costco, of course).
And for dinner, Pam made paella. YUM!!!! I have decided I am overweight because of the Kutners. It is all their fault. Below is how I look everytime, and I mean EVERYTIME I leave their house. I'm scared about tomorrow...I'm having Thanksgiving with them!
