While cruising Facebook this evening, I came across a friend commenting on another friend's photos - which therefor gave me access to that particular photo album, even though I'm not "friends" with the particular photographer. The pictures were of my friend's son and daughter-in-law on a trip with their friend (the photographer) to Switzerland. I just absolutely LOVE these shots! This girl is an amazing photographer with an amazing eye and a great camera. For the past two weekends I've been watching Rick Steves in Europe and he's been showcasing Switzerland. His images tugged at my heart a little (similar to when I first got the desire to go to New Zealand), but this girls pictures sealed the deal. I'm packin'; I'm savin'; and one day soon here, I'm goin'! "YES and Amen!" (So be it!)

Look at that! I mean, my Lord, is that Narnia?? It (and all of these following shots) are some of the most beautiful scenes I've ever seen!

Those little specs in the center of the picture are actually paragliders. Apparently you can launch off from this point on the mountain down to the town in the valley 3700 feet below. I am SO doing this! When I saw this picture my heart wanted to strap in and FLY!

Truly gorgeous! Thanks for sharing them. We have friends in Switzerland, they live in a city off the Thun Sea... of course I have spelled it wrong, and even though it is a Lake by in English it is a Sea in German. I know they have three languages spoken there. My Mother has been to visit, it too is on my list of places to be... Just wanted to say thank you for showing us your friends pictures!!
