I LOVE TULIP TREES! And I forgot that the end of January is when they bloom. Tim and I were on our way to the Galleria when we passed this tree. I didn't have my camera with me, so he humored me and let me run back to my apartment and get it. The cloudy gray day was perfect lighting for the perfect shot. I believe that they're also called Oriental Magnolias.
And this last shot was some sort of plant that was growing outside of Jim and Susan's house last Sunday when we went out for Mexican in honor of Jim's birthday.
