It was an absolutely gorgeous day for Mother's Day in Houston. And surprisingly, the parks were not packed. I had started off the day by being woken up at 3:17am, 3:34am, 4:02am and 4:30am by raging thunderstorms as the cold front pressed through, then it was off to church with Mike and Pam at First Presbyterian. From there we went to lunch at my favorite Greek place, Niko Niko's and then off to my second favorite place, Target. Afterwards we worked our way towards Hermann Park and the Rose Garden and got some good shots of the ones that were blooming. Flower shots aren't very exciting, I know.
But here's an action shot :-) I've always heard if you put people in scenery shots it makes them more interesting. Pam will probably kill me and make me take this one down :-)
