Boulder

As you saw in the previous post, I'm in Denver and my friend Michelle picked me up and we headed off to a little tourist time in Boulder before I had to report to work. The above picture was just a shot I liked of the yellow-green leaves against the red brick, combined with the fun roof-line.

This was the view from Michelle's and my table at lunch. Again, I loved the lines and colors of the trees against the colors of the buildings. Not to mention the tulips :-) This is a really cute part of Boulder...I guess they closed down the old main street and turned it into a pedestrian walkway between all the shops and restaurants. It's lined with trees in planters, and in each of those planters are tons and tons of tulips! If you don't already know, tulips are my favorite flower. The fun part is that every four tree groupings had different color tulips. (See below.)

Here's a happy thing!!! A Ben & Jerry's store above a bookstore with a sign in the window that says "psychology" :-) I've always said B&J were my therapists!!!
