Bebo

Friday night Tim and Kim and Angel and I went to see Bebo Norman in concert at Gateway Church in Clear Lake. My stomping grounds for work. I stayed down in Clear Lake after a long day of complaining-husbands-sans-wives, followed by passive-aggressive teenage males and their anxious mothers. T&K&A carpooled down to meet me for a night south of the Beltway. It was very low key and enjoyable...and I learned I like the dulcimer. I already knew I loved Bebo's heart. He's a psalmist for our times. "I Will Lift My Eyes" and "Come and Worship" are two of my absolute favorite songs. He is simple, authentic, and involved in two organizations I care a lot about - Compassion International and International Justice Mission. If you've never heard of either of them, check them out.
