Lights

It's that time of year again! It was cold this weekend, so it really added to the ambiance of the Christmas lights in River Oaks, the uber-rich part of town right across the bayou from my place. They really outdid themselves this year. I think half of Houston came to drive through after dinner like I did.

Looking up at strand after strand after strand dangling from live oak braches.

This tree is just beyond description. It's what, 100 feet tall? Last year they did the strings of lights hanging from it. This year they wrapped it to every tip! Majorly impressive. You should have seen the line of cars... well, you can see some of them.

You can't really tell how huge those Dr. Seuss trees are! They, too, are close to 100 feet.
