I was spending Halloween by myself cause my friend's dinner party got cancelled due to her feeling under the weather. In the course of my t.v. viewing, I saw a commercial or something for candy corns and I suddenly wanted them. I wrestled with the idea for about 5 minutes and then caved in. I'd had a good two mile or so run this afternoon, so I decided to go for it. Fortunately, there are no kids in my apartment complex, so I got the candy corns and candy corn pumpkins in all their corn-syrup-y goodness to myself.
Coming home from the gym late one night, I noticed this gigantically perfect spiderweb underneath one of the hallway lights. I didn't think it would actually show up very well in the photo, but I was pleasantly surprised. I think the spider was getting ready for Halloween!
