Terrance's Travels

This is Terrance the Tortoise. And that's Terrance's mom, Trudy. Terrance woke up this morning to a time change and it put some twang in his tortoise shell. So to tweak out some of that extra energy, Trudy suggested Terrance take a hike - not in a teasing way, but in the adventure kind of way. He thought that sounded terrific as he's only ever seen the patio. So with a little bit of verve and a pinch of trust, he ventured further into Kutner territory.

He started out, by peering out, from behind the closest terra cotta pot.

From there he thought it would be fun to tease and hide underneath the Azaleas.

To his surpise, and with courage rising, he tottled over to chat with some flowers.

After his talk to the flowers, and with new found power, he stopped to say hi to the human (me). He told his tale of stretching his comfort zone and the fear and excitement it was bringing.

And then without delay, it was off across the way to munch on a bunch of pink blossoms.

By now feeling tricksy, he sprang from behind tall grasses with an attempt at a terrifying BOO!

Next up a tree!

Then almost a fall, followed soon by a world class dangle!

Finally he stopped to visit the dog he swore he'd heard bark each night at the moon. Then he returned to his mom, and report of his travels, and take in a mid-day siesta!

You need to write and illustrate children's books.
