Look what I found at Costco!!! I needed more hot chocolate (to put in my coffee in the mornings, and to have as dessert at night) so I thought I'd see if Costco had it in bulk. They didn't have regular hot chocolate, but they did have this! Bliss! So with a gift card I got from the Kutner's for Christmas, I bought myself a little happy. I'm having a cup of it as I sit in my chair and blog. It's a hazy, cool, overcast day which makes for the perfect mood. We'll see if I can stay awake long enough to finish this post!
So why am I home on a Friday? Well, as you'll remember, I switched counseling places and I'm in the process of building up a new caseload. I didn't have any clients scheduled today, so I went out and ran some errands. It's been nice getting some rest and taking it easy the past few weeks, but it's time for the clients to come pouring in. If you think of me, pray for speedy admission to the insurance panels!! Thanks!
And here's another one of my favorite things: tulip trees! An old high school friend was in town last weekend, so I drove she and her mother around the Heights to get a taste of Houston. It just makes my heart happy to see the tulip trees in bloom this time of year, and I loved the colors of the blossoms agains the yellow of the house and the blue of the sky. Someday I will own my very own tulip tree (or two).
And I have no idea what these are called, but I found them really interesting. The leaves reminded me almost of a cactus or other succulant and I sorta felt like this plant should be on Mars. After dropping my friend and her mother off at the docks in Galveston for their cruise, I swung by the Telge's to clean out their gutters for them and discovered these in the planter. It was such a gorgeous day last Sunday, that Tim Telge came out in his wheel chair and soaked up the sun and watered these flowers while keeping me company.

OK - I'll pray for that speedy admission and clients pouring in! Just reading your post put me in a cozy mood. I'm home alone tonight, so I think I'll blog. Did I say "alone?" Well, you know what I mean... without Will. I'm having a cup of "happy" right now too, but I think I need some of that Starbucks cocoa. Yay, Costco!
