Surprise!!! Thanks to the generosity of my parents letting me use a free ticket, I was able to fly home to ABQ to see Bradley as the lead in his play, "The Mouse That Roared". He had absolutely no idea I was coming home to see him and had even been telling his mom the night before how he just wished that his Uncle D. could come see him, to which she replied that it was such a lot of money. So it was a total blast as I sat on his couch Friday afternoon when he rounded the corner of the living room after getting home from school and saw me on the couch and promptly burst into tears. It was really touching :-) I was thrilled to be there to see him in his big moment and he did such a GREAT job!
Oh come on.... you knew this shot was coming. It's ABQ, so of course there's going to be Dions. The good news for my nephews was they didn't have to go since they were in school and didn't know I was coming anyway. Next time, boys!!!
My view out the plane window getting ready to fly back home to Houston. It was SUCH a quick trip! In Friday afternoon, out Saturday evening. Sigh. Oh well. It was great to be able to see my family even for only 24 hours. Thanks again, Mom & Dad for the free ticket :-) See you in April for the wedding! (no! not mine! that would get it's own posting :-)
