There was no room at the inn with my aunts both staying at my parents, so I got kicked to the living room. Thought I'd show you some shots of my makeshift bedroom. It actually was not all that bad, though the first night I froze my butt off cause the air in an air mattress never heats up on a winter's night. The second night was much better with the addition of two comforters as a mattress pad.
My queen sized air mattress, resting comfortable at the foot of the Christmas tree where just hours before there had been a frenzy of unwrapping.
And then a favorite shot of my "closet" - the arm of a lamp.
My mom said this was her favorite gift (to be given by her) of Christmas. This little guy was in my stocking, a "grow your own therapist" who was accompanied by a box of kleenex that had quotes from the Geico Therapist commercial, such as "Mamby Pamby Land" and "Jackwagon". It was a hoot to open!
On Wednesday night Melinda hosted a party of the old high school gang, minus Michelle and Juan who had just given birth to their second child a few days before (and Marney and Will who live in CA). The cute little kid in the pic above is Larkyn, the daughter of my friends Lauri and Remi.
