So after a great cheeseburger at one of my favorite restaurants, Pam and I drove around River Oaks (the rich part of town) and looked at all their Christmas lights. It's amazing what you can do when you have limitless cash and a landscaping crew to do all the work :-)
Me: "It's pretty, but I'm not sure people will see the trees through all the lights, that they're hanging from the branches."
Pam: "Well, this pic is for your blog, right?"
Me: "Right."
Pam: "Why don't you just write that the lights are hanging from the tree?"
Me: "I hate you."
You can't tell from the picture just how bright these lights are...I've never seen anything like them - almost other-worldly.
Last year and the year before, this house was decorated with only white lights. This year they added the red and it really makes it a lot more fun. It's like the Suess Christmas house.
