My friend and old coworker Jill recently bought her first house and so this morning I went over to get the grand tour. It's a cute little three bedroom in a re-gentrifying neighborhood and it makes me want to buy my own place.
In honor of my visit, she made us breakfast, what her family calls Christmas Quiche.
I'm not normally a breakfast person, but for some reason I woke up really hungry this morning, which I never do. Lucky me, cause this quiche was soooo good I had two pieces.
This is Anabelle, my girlfriend for the morning, taking a nap on the couch. She is such an affectionate dog! She was constantly wanting to be petted :-)
Jill had seen a very similar chandelier at Pottery Barn and told her brother in law about it who then turned around and made her this! I love the creativity and the fact that it was handmade.
And here's Jill looking cute in her recently remodeled bathroom. I really liked the color choices she made throughout the house.
And here's a highlight of the bathroom, the original stained glass window that's 50 years old! One friend told her to rip it out, but I'm with Jill - I love it!
And a nice shot of the interior from the living room. The kitchen and dining room are off to the left, as is the master bedroom. To the right is the guest room and just behind that bookshelf is a mini-hallway and an office off of it. It's a really cute house and Jill has done a really nice job making it feel comfy and cozy. Makes me want to be a homeownder myself.
