You know the drill: see a flower, take a picture. And yes, this was early in the morning as Michael and I walked yet again to the local coffee house, Kaladi Brothers Coffee. And believe it or not, there was a Starbucks just half a block further, but I chose to go to Kaladi's! Don't fall out of your chair. I wanted the "Denver" experience. I can get Starbucks anywhere :-)
Loved this! It was taped on the barista's espresso machine.
And here's a shot of the store front. It was such a pleasant place, and I noticed a lot of the same people there every morning. The cool thing was since we were a part of a conference at DU, Kaladi's would give us 5o cents off our order just for flashing our conference badge.
This great little Mediterranean restaurant was just down the street from our dorm. On our last night together, my small group and I went to have a last supper here, instead of eating in the cafeteria (with about 100 kids there at a camp). I love Mediterranean food!!!
From Jerusalem, we walked over to the law school and up to the fourth floor to catch an unobstructed view of the sunset. Not the most spectacular that I've seen, but pretty none-the-less. I also enjoyed the synchronicity of the fact that this was the same law school I spent a week at in May helping run the Family Law Program with my friend Jim.
After watching the sun disappear behind the Front Range, we meandered over to the Student Center. AMAZING place!!!! It really, really made me wish I was a student again so I could use it. And yes, this elaborate spire is part of the Student Center. NOW do you see why it costs $43,000/year to attend???
Same spire, just at dark.
