Okay, so really these first two pictures are from Saturday night. Scott came in town and ended up staying with me at the last minute. It was actually a welcome surprise. After he went out to dinner with some friends, he and I went to Starbucks. We tried going to my usual one across the street, but it was 9:30 and they were closing, so we jaywalked our way over to the big one and sat outside. After that we ran over to the grocery store and they actually had perishables again! Yeah! It's the small things in life...
Then this morning I woke up and putzed around on the internet, checking out other people's blogs and reading Michelle's brand new blog (welcome to the wonderful world of blogging, Michelle!). Scott left to go spend some time with his son and I continued to surf when I came across the following link:

Especially with how I'm feeling about starting back to work tomorrow and getting back into the full swing of things. I worked some on Thursday and more on Friday, so I'm sorta already geared up...I'm just not looking forward to it. And actually, if you all wouldn't mind praying for me, I'm considering leaving Samaritan. I'm going to do some job hunting once I finish this post, but am not sure if it's just my emotions telling me to leave. So your prayers for discernment and clarity would be much appreciated.
At the moment I'm back across the street at my usual Starbucks and Pam is sitting here with me. She and Mike said that 3/4 of the people of their church raised their hands when asked who was still without power. No thanks. The heat and humidity are back and I must say it's not much cooler in this Starbucks, either.
